Diver Recovery Block and Tackle
CE marked 6:1 advantage diver recovery pulley
The C-Tecnics Diver Recovery Block and Tackle is designed for the safe recovery of a diver into a diving bell. It is a 6:1 advantage pulley system with a standard extended length of 6 metres, measured from the top of the bell, through the trunking, to the base of the stage. Alternative lengths are available on request.
The system should be attached to a secure lifting point certified to at least 900 kg. A fully dressed diver can be estimated at 170 kg, providing a 10x safety factor compatible with the load testing requirements of diver recovery harnesses such as the C-Tecnics Jok II Harness.
The top pulley is fitted with a cam cleat, allowing the rope to be locked off during recovery for single-operator use. The cleat angle is adjustable via a ratcheted locking pin system and can be set to suit the operator’s working position within the bell.
The bottom pulley is fitted with a stainless steel carabiner for secure attachment to the diver’s lifting or recovery point.
