JOK Diver Recovery Jacket

Commercial diving recovery jacket combining a CE-marked recovery harness, cylinder backpack and quick-release weight system.

The JOK Jacket brings three essential components together in a waistcoat-style assembly: a diver recovery harness, bail-out cylinder holder and weight system.

Adjustable shoulder, chest, leg and waist fittings provide a secure fit. Six weight pockets accommodate up to 24 kg of ballast, with a one-pull quick-release system.

Available in Standard (HA015) and Small (HA015-S). Compatible 2 kg coated lead weights and related recovery equipment are supplied separately.

Safety & Testing

Each of the jacket’s three designated lifting points has been tested to 9,000 N. The design provides a 6:1 safety factor based on the anticipated weight of a fully equipped diver and considers load distribution and dynamic recovery conditions.

The stated test load is not a safe working load.

Cylinder Backpack

The rear-mounted plastic backpack accommodates a range of commercial bail-out cylinder sizes. For correct threading, fitting and adjustment of the cylinder cam band, refer to the fitting instructions.

Maintenance, Inspection & Traceability

The JOK Jacket should be included within a Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and inspected every six months by a competent person for abrasion, stitching failure or component damage.

The identification label provides fields for the model, serial number, manufacture and purchase dates, together with six-monthly inspection records to support traceability.
