Product Testing & Compliance
Across our product range, quality, operational safety and suitability for the intended environment are considered throughout design, manufacture, inspection and testing. The verification applied varies according to each product and its requirements.
Testing Across Our Product Range
The products below are selected examples where defined release loads, recovery loads or breathing-performance criteria are particularly critical. They illustrate our wider approach and are not an exhaustive list of the equipment developed through our controlled quality processes.
Diver Weak Link
Its release performance is tested against the defined load requirement, supporting its development in accordance with IMCA D 058 guidance for diver attachment to underwater structures.
JOK Diver Recovery Harness MK II
Its lifting arrangement has been tested to 9,000 N without failure of the webbing or stitching, providing a 6:1 safety factor based on the anticipated weight of a fully equipped diver.
JOK Diver Recovery Jacket
Each of its three designated lifting points has been tested to 9,000 N. The design provides a 6:1 safety factor and considers load distribution and dynamic recovery conditions.
HBB200 Delta BIBS MK II
At a respiratory minute volume of 62.5 litres per minute, work of breathing, respiratory pressures and carbon dioxide levels remained within the relevant preferred limits.
Beyond these examples, the same quality-led approach supports our wider range of underwater cameras, lighting, communications, video systems, depth monitoring equipment, cables and accessories, with verification appropriate to each product’s function and operating environment.

Quality Managed from Design to Delivery
Our quality management system supports controlled design, manufacturing, inspection, documentation and continual improvement throughout our operations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is all C-Tecnics product testing carried out in-house?
Testing is carried out in-house where appropriate as part of C-Tecnics’ design, development and quality processes. Independent testing and third-party conformity assessment are used where required by the product, application or applicable compliance process.
What does ISO 9001 certification cover?
ISO 9001 certification applies to the C-Tecnics quality management system. It supports controlled processes for design, manufacturing, inspection, documentation and continual improvement. It does not mean that every individual product is certified to ISO 9001.
Which C-Tecnics products undergo safety or performance testing?
Testing and verification form part of C-Tecnics’ wider design, manufacturing and quality processes across the product range, with requirements determined by each product’s function, intended application and operating environment. The Diver Weak Link, JOK Diver Recovery Harness and Jacket, and Delta BIBS are highlighted on this page as selected examples with particularly defined safety or performance criteria.
Where can product documentation be found?
Product datasheets and manuals can be downloaded directly from the relevant product page where they are available.
If you require further technical, testing or compliance documentation, please contact C-Tecnics. We will confirm what information is available and provide suitable supporting documentation wherever possible.
Need Additional Technical Documentation?
Datasheets and manuals are available to download from the relevant product pages where provided. For further technical, testing or compliance information, contact our team and we will confirm what additional documentation may be available for your requirements.
