C-Tecnics Celebrates 20 Years of Supporting Underwater Operations

Twenty years in business is an important milestone for C-Tecnics.

To mark the occasion, we welcomed customers, suppliers, partners and industry colleagues to our new Aberdeen headquarters. For many of our guests, it was their first chance to explore the expanded facilities and see first-hand how our equipment is designed, assembled and tested.

Visitors were invited into the workshop to see first-hand how C-Tecnics equipment is designed, assembled and tested in Aberdeen.

The move has given us significantly more workshop capacity, creating additional space for engineering, manufacturing and the development of new products for underwater operations around the world.

The Open Day gave visitors the chance to meet our team, explore a range of subsea electronics and diving equipment, and learn more about the systems we develop and manufacture here in Aberdeen.

Equipment on display included the CV2 C-Vision diver video system, CV1000 Solo recording system, C-Phone diver communications range, alongside a selection of subsea cameras and lighting systems used across commercial diving, ROV, defence and marine science applications.

Managing Director Magnus Lindberg thanked customers, suppliers, distributors and employees for their continued support, highlighting the importance of the relationships that have helped shape C-Tecnics over the past two decades.

Throughout the evening, conversations covered customer applications, technical challenges and the practical requirements shaping the next generation of C-Tecnics products.

While the evening marked twenty years in business, it also offered a glimpse of what comes next for C-Tecnics.

Visitors were given an early look at several new developments currently progressing through design and testing. These projects remain under wraps for now, but we look forward to sharing more over the coming months.

Another highlight of the evening was bringing together customers, suppliers, distributors and industry partners from across the subsea sector.

C-Tecnics marked 20 years supporting underwater operations by welcoming customers, suppliers, partners and industry colleagues to its new Aberdeen headquarters.

Away from day-to-day projects, guests had time to reconnect, discuss current challenges and exchange ideas about future opportunities in a relaxed setting.

We are also grateful to our partner exhibitors, who helped make the evening a success by showcasing complementary technologies from across the subsea industry:

  • ORCA
  • MacArtney
  • Macro Manufacturing
  • Impact Subsea
  • RTS
  • SMP

The evening was a welcome reminder of the relationships and collaboration that keep the subsea industry moving forward.
